During our taco making session this evening we clarified what makes a clever person and what doesn’t.

We aren’t sure how the conversation came about but along the way it went like this.

P. you are pretty clever aren’t you Richard, you can speak English and Russian.
R. Yea and Muma can speak Russian and English too, she is clever!
P. I can only speak English [before I could finish the sentence]
R. Yea, you aren’t clever and neither is Babuliya. You can only speak English and Babuliya can only speak Russian!

Kids today huh?

Mama and Babuliya went to the shop just now to get some lettuce and green peppers for our Tacos that Papa was busy making. When the girls got home Babuliya said that she was thirsty and would like some water. Everyone was a bit suprised when I asked “Why don’t you want vodka?”

Living in Russia is great!

On the way home from Mega Mall papa stopped at the market to buy flowers for Mum this woman’s day thing and we saw a bus with an interesting sign. It was a rabbit with a rid circle around it and a red line through the middle, sort of like on the shops when you cant take icereams inside. Anyway the comment was “Look papa, no rabbits allowed on the bus!” Laughing I asked why not and he simply replied “because there will be no room for people!”

What is a sign like that on a bus for anyway you might ask? They say about people who ride for free on public transport ‘riding like a rabbit’ so they put a sign on the outside to say no rabbits allowed! Simple huh.

We went to Mega Mall today, just me and dad. It was International Woman’s Day so we left Mum and Babuliya at home to be women. They were happy and we were happy!

I played in the play center and I met a kid called Vania. Dad and I were talking about how we met in the car.

P. Who did you play with in the play center Ricard?
R. I played with a kid called Vania.
P. How did you know his name?
R. He told me.
P. Did you tell him your name or did he ask?
R. He asked and he also asked if I was a girl! I told him no and he played with me.

I guess it is time for a hair cut!
