P: I’ll be home in 45minutes ok?
R: Ohh, that sounds like a lot!
P: No it isn’t long but I can be home in one hour if you like!
R: Yea, that sounds better.
P: Ok then see you in an hour.
R: OK, bye.

Richard has just started with the never ending series of one word questions, Why?
We started making attempts to answer the questions fully to enhance his learning but we quickly learnt that he wasn’t listening to the answers.
Today I quizzed him on why he asks so many why questions and he replied without hesitation or thought [...]
